We all know the importance of having high quality staple pieces in your wardrobe. But when it comes to putting together an outfit what really makes a difference is how you style it! I’ve always had a love of accessories becuase of how easily the right pieces can transform your entire look! One unexpected way to add a little umph to your outift is to add a silk scarf.

Silk scarves are a wonderful staple piece because they are classic and can be worn so many different ways. A high-quality silk scarf will last you for years to come and for sure turn heads when you wear it.

That’s why today on the blog I’m happy to introduce Ana from @anatreasurebox on Instagram! Ana is an artist from the South of France and started creating hand-painted silk scarves in 2016 as a hobby. Since then Ana has opened up an Etsy shop selling her beautiful, vibrant, and one-of-a-kind silk scarves.

5 Fun Ways to Style a Silk Scarf

If you looking for a great way to add some texture, colour, and interest to any outfit, look no further than Silk Scarves. They are definitely such a wardrobe staple.

I would love to share with you 5 fun ideas as to how to rock this stylish accessory this season.

Hair

Imagine yourself in an open-top car cruising down the cote d’azur wearing those iconic cat-eye sunglasses. Now add your square silk scarf and tie around hair. It will protect you from the rain and wind but also make you feel like Audrey Hepburn.

Another alternative – as a ponytail tie or a classic headband. They are certainly one of the easiest ways to style your silk scarf, yet it will elevate your look like no other. Both 35 x 35 inches and small bandanas would work well for this.

Belt

I have seen so many fashion bloggers rocking the scarf this way. If you would like to go for a more relaxed, weekend wear, definitely pair it with jeans.

It would look great as well for nicer occasions together with the dress. Super easy to achieve – just wrap your silk scarf around your waist , and tie a knot. And voila, your ensemble has a wonderful new accent to it.

Bag

Scarves would also work wonders to accessorise your purse. Just tie it around the handles of the bag and you have your pop of colour that is not going to distract from your outfit. I would recommend going for a small skinny scarf to achieve this look or a small square bandana.

Neck

Why not keep classic? Grab your square scarf and fold it in the middle to create a triangle. Place it around your neck and leave the end loose. Alternatively , you can always try tying a knot or a bow.

Bracelet

If you have a smaller scarf in your collection you can loop it around your wrist to create and bracelet . Silk is so pleasant to the skin you will love wearing it this way.
