11 Smart Matching Sets You Can Wear for Fall

Summertime isn’t the only time of year you can wear matching sets.

Matching sets have been popular over the past few years but lately, it feels like I’ve been seeing them in stores and online more than usual. And it’s for good reason too. A matching set not only makes getting dressed incredibly easy but they are also super stylish.

They also help you to make the most of your wardrobe because you can style the separates with other pieces in your closet. Whether you’re staying at home and wanna look cute in your loungewear or going out for the night there is a matching set for you.

Matching Sets for Fall

Linen Blazer and Shorts

I found this blazer and short set on the Target website and knew that I had to try it out for myself. Initially, the blazer caught my eye but I figured I could use another pair of shorts and decided to order them as well.

The color makes this set easy to style separately and the gingham print is a classic! You’re probably thinking that this set is too summery for the fall but replace the white bodysuit with a darker color, add some booties, and you’ll be fall-ready in no time!

Petite ladies this blazer will be oversized on you but I find that it’s still wearable. Just roll up the sleeves and possibly size down for a better fit!

Wide Leg Pants and Blazer

Ok, so I have another set from Target for you. This wide-leg pant and blazer set is great for cool summer days or the transition from summer to fall. Again, I might replace the white top with a black bodysuit to make it more appropriate for the fall months.

It is such a comfortable set and I actually think that this color green works really well in the fall. You could always style the pieces separately as well. Wear the blazer with a pair of dark denim skinny jeans or pair the pants with a cozy sweater for cooler days.

So you know I’ve got my petite ladies! These pants are pretty long (I’m 5ft wearing an extra small) but I choose not to get them taken up because I intended to wear them with heels. For this particular look, I’m wearing a 3-inch heel but could go a little higher if I wanted.

Ribbed Sweater and Skirt Set

I spotted this sweater and skirt set on the Express website and thought it would be perfect for the summer to fall transition. You could pair it with heeled sandals for warmer days or booties and a leather jacket for when the temps drop.

Long Sleeve Blouse and Wide Leg Pants Set

This set is so lux and the color is perfect for fall. I would love this with a pair of pointy-toe heels and a long jacket for the cooler weather. I love how the model has her hair pulled back to show off this flowy set.

Cropped Zip Up Hoodie + Jogger Pant Set

Who doesn’t love a good loungewear set? There’s no reason to sacrifice style for comfort. This jogger set could be easily paired with heels and gold accessories for a more put-together outfit.

Cropped Blazer and Skirt Set

I normally wouldn’t go for a skirt and blazer set. It’s just not usually my style but there is just something so chic about this set. It’s the 90s and reminds me of clueless but with a little more edge. Plus, these pieces would look amazingly styled separately.

Olive Green Knit Three-Piece Sweater Dress

This three-piece outfit has to be one of my favorites. The color is on point for fall and the bralette is so flattering. Swap out the bralette for a sweater or top the entire outfit with a cropped jacket.

Jogger Set

I had to include another jogger set because I loved this color combination. Wear it lounging around at home or out running errands.

Fiore Short Set

If the weather is still somewhat hot this short set is perfect. The color is perfect for the season and you can always swap out the top for a tee or replace the shorts with a pair of denim jeans.

Floral Bead and Sequin Set

This beaded and sequin set is perfect for a special occasion that you may need to attend this fall. This set is just so much different than anything that I’ve come across. I could see wearing it to a wedding (depending on how formal), a night out with the girls, or maybe even save it for New Year’s Eve.

Pleated Pant and Top Set

Lately, I’ve been all about pleated pants. There are so many different ways you can style them and I’ve found them to be such a versatile addition to my wardrobe. Throw a blazer or jacket over this set for some more warmth. Or maybe layer a black turtle neck or long-sleeved top under the top.

What do you think about matching sets? Are you into the trend or do you prefer to wear outfits that aren’t so matchy matchy?

That linen set is so cute!! Love the cropped blazer and skirt co-ord too although that would require some serious layering to work here in autumn x

Omg, I can’t wait till it gets colder. The weather is pretty unpredictable this time of year here in New Jersey. But overall it’s still pretty warm!
