7 Viral Fall Beauty Trends for 2021

Fall beauty trends for 2021. These are the must-try trends for the upcoming fall months!

Fall is almost here so it’s time for another beauty trend update! I have to say after the pandemic hit I have been wearing a more natural look or no makeup at all. While it’s been a nice change from my regular full face of makeup I am ready to start playing around with beauty trends again. This fall I’m seeing some trends continue from the previous year but I’m also learning about a few new ones that are different and exciting!

Fall Beauty Trends for 2021

The Reverse Cat Eye

The reverse cat-eye has been around in different cultures for a while but has recently gone viral on TikTok thanks to @paintedbyspencer. I love how this is a sexy and unique twist on the traditional cat-eye that has been popular for years. While this might seem like a tricky look to achieve it might actually be easier for certain eye shapes that have a hard time creating the classic cat-eye look. I’m def trying this one for a date night out!

Dramatic Lashes

I love a dramatic lash. Even if I’m not wearing much makeup I will almost always pile on the mascara to achieve the desired length. Well, this look isn’t going anywhere because long and thick lashes are huge for fall. If mascara alone isn’t doing it for you try out a pair of magnetic lashes. Magnetic lashes make it so simple to achieve the look without the messy glue of traditional lashes. Just make sure that you get the magnetic liner and not the doublesided magnetic lashes!

Soap Brows

Big fluffy brushed-up brows are very on-trend for fall 2021! I have been playing around with different brow gels in order to get the look. I tried this soap brow product from Amazon and it works but I feel like it leaves my brows a little greasy. So lately I’ve opted to use the Boy Brow from Glossier. It’s not a soap brow but it gives me a similar effect. I’m a little obsessed with this trend so I’ll probably keep searching for the perfect soap brow product.

Intense Black Liner

Intense black eyeliner is back! I don’t know about you but back when I was in high school and college I couldn’t go without my black eyeliner. I would line my top lids as well as inside the water line. While I haven’t been wearing all that much eyeliner lately I do think it would be fun to revisit this look only maybe just a bit more toned down. Maybe even try out a colored eyeliner in place of black.

I know what you’re thinking. Lipstick is a trend? Well, it’s not really because lipstick has always been around but after over a year of mask mandates, we are seeing an emphasis on lips. Think bold lips with the rest of your makeup simple and dewy. This viral image of Megan Fox is the perfect example!

Dewy Skin

A focus on fresh, dewy, and glowy skin is going to be a big trend for fall. Skip out on full coverage foundation formulas and opt for medium to light coverage. If your foundation isn’t dewy enough for you try a primer like Glossier’s Futuredew underneath. It will give you just the right amount of shine without looking oily or greasy. I like to also add a cream blush with a subtle highlight.
