My Top 5 Earring Trends for 2018

Accessories are my absolute favorite way to take dress up a simple look. The right accessories can make a simple outfit super chic! One of my favorite accessories to wear are a pair of earrings. There’s something about wearing earrings that makes me feel extra stylish. Even if I am wearing a statement necklace I will still wear a pair of tiny studs. It’s safe to say that earrings are my favorite accessory of all time. And there are more styles of earrings than ever to choose from! Let’s check out the top earring trends for this year so far!

The Jacket Earring

The jacket earring made its way into the fashion world a

few years ago and is still staying strong. I love the idea of having a stud in your ear with a little dangle or gem peeking out from behind! Whenever I wear this type of earring I constantly get compliments! Make sure to wear your hair pulled back when rocking this type of earring so that you can really show them off!

Thread Earrings

I first discovered thread earrings as a teenager and it appears that they are making a comeback! When I was a teenager I worked at a craft store I got into making my own jewelry and even made a few pairs of thread earrings that I still wear today! Stud Earrings

You can’t go wrong with a simple pair of stud earrings. They are great when you are wanting to highlight your outfit more than anything or when you have on a necklace and don’t want to bring too much attention to your ears! Studs are also amazing for creating the perfect ear party if you have multiple piercings in your ears. Personally, I have three holes in each ear and have been considering getting a cartridge piercing so I can rock even more studs! What do you think? How many piercings do you have?

Tassel Earrings

Tassel Earrings have been huge this past year and the trend shows no sign of slowing down. My friend Yiota over at Pink Daisy Loves is a lover of this style and she always rocks them so well! Dangle Earrings

Occasionally I like to switch it up with a pair of long dangly earrings. I love to pull my hair back and let my dangly earrings be the star of the show. There is something just so chic about a dangly earring. Not to mention Target has been killin’ it with their selection of accessories. I mean how cute are these silver earrings and these and these. OK, so I went a little crazy shopping at Target recently! I can’t help it I just love that place!!!

Bonus – Hoop Earrings

Hoop earrings are my all time favorite type of earring to wear! And while hoops have made a “comeback” this past year, in my opinion, they never go out of style. I always have at least two pairs of hoops in my collection – a silver pair and a gold pair. And if you wanna be extra glam, go for a pair of hoops encrusted with cubic zirconias.
