So Susan Cosmetics The Beauty Brand that is Good for Your Skin

As much as I have been posting about fashion lately I’ll always have a place in my heart for cosmetics. There is just something about buying a new shadow palette or lipstick that makes me so happy and feeds my creativity! One of my favorite things about having a blog is that I get the chance to try out cosmetic lines that I’ve never heard about! So, of course, I was excited when So Susan Cosmetics reached out and sent me a lovely PR package of goodies!

So Susan Cosmetics was born out of the desire to combine wrinkle-relief technology with color cosmetics. Their formulas combine the use of peptides, amino acids, and antioxidants to reduce signs of aging and fatigue. The idea is that not only are you wearing beautiful makeup but it’s working to improve your skin at the same time! On top of that all of So Susan Cosmetics are PETA certified cruelty-free. I was lucky enough to be gifted a few of the items from the So Susan Collection and I’ve created a look using the rose gold shadow palette and highlighter stick.

So Susan Palette Rose Gold $29

Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette

Lemme tell ya I was so happy to find a rose gold eyeshadow palette in my box! I have quite an obsession with rose gold. Everything from details in my website design, to my laptop, and mouse are rose gold. This palette comes with 8 eyeshadows and highlighters in shades of rosy gold, plum, and copper. Perfect for fall!

I went for more of a purpley fall look with the help of So Susan Cosmetics Rose Gold Palette

They are made with plant-based antioxidants such as oregano, goldenseal root, thyme, lavender, and rosemary. You can actually smell the herbs in this palette if you get close enough! It also contains olive and jojoba oils!

The Silhouette – Foiled Eyeshadow Palette $45

Foiled eyeshadows are so chic and totally on-trend right now! This palette contains 4 shades that are highly pigmented. They contain Copper Tripeptide-1 and Black Tea Ferment to help fine lines around the eye area. You can combine shades for a fun look or go for a swipe of a single shade over the entire lid for a chic sophisticated look. These shadows layer nicely and work for day or night!

Light Odyssey Highlighting Stick $26

So Susan Highlighting Stick

These good for you highlighting sticks are just about the creamiest thing ever! So Susan Cosmetics sent me the shades Amaranthine (glowy pink) and Rave (glowy peach). I love that they are vegan and formulated with mallow extract and peptides to provide nutrients to the skin. This creamy formula allows you to easily layer so you can build up the color to your liking!

The So Susan Lumiere Rose Gold highlighter contains light-reflecting gold mica for a sheer luminous effect. Some other key ingredients include Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, lingonberry seed extract, and hyaluronic acid.
