Earth day is here and so is the Sephora 2020 Spring Sale Event! Thanks to larger companies like Sephora clean beauty brands are easier to find than ever. While I may be guilty of purchasing conventional cosmetics at times, I do try to make clean beauty purchases whenever possible. Especially when it comes to skincare! That’s why I’m sharing some of my favorite clean beauty brands and some that are on my wish list!
Sephora 2020 Spring Sale: Clean Beauty Edition
Favorite Clean Beauty Brands
I’ve tried several clean brands that are in the sunscreen space but Coola beats them out every time! My favorite product is their Classic Face Sunscreen SPF 50 with White Tea. I have found that facial sunscreens by some other brands are either too thick to wear under makeup or that they start peeling off when you apply makeup on top. That isn’t the case with Coola.
Coola sunscreen has a perfect consistency and never feels greasy or thick. It’s the one that I keep going back to over and over. I’ve also tried their Makeup Setting Spray Organic Sunscreen SPF 30 and it’s a keeper! Now I’m kinda tempted to try out their sunless tanning products and BB Cream!
Bite Beauty always makes lovely lipsticks and lip pencils so you know I had to add them to this list. The texture of their shimmer lip crayon is amazing! Although, I thought that Bite Beauty had more variety in their shades. Anyway, Bite Beauty now has a primer and foundation available. I haven’t had the chance to try but might be worth trying out if you’re into clean beauty!
So far I’ve only tried one product by Glow Recipe but I love it so much that I thought it would be worth mentioning. I love their Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping mask. Every time I use this product I wake up with noticeably brighter and plumper skin. The Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask and Pineapple-C Brightening Serum are currently on my wishlist!
Clean Beauty Brands on My Wishlist
I have heard so many good things about RMS beauty on blogs and podcasts that I had to add them to my wishlist. RMS Beauty products seem to give you a natural glow which is great for a fresh every day look. I’ve mostly been wanting to try their Living Luminizer but I’ve also heard that their Un Cover-Up Concealer/Foundation is amazing.
I know, I know I haven’t tried Drunk Elephant yet and everyone has been raving about it foreverrr! I just haven’t been able to justify dropping $80 on a single skincare item ya know? But it’s getting difficult to ignore the fact that so many people have had incredible results with this brand. I’m not sure that I’ll invest just yet but I’m adding Drunk Elephant to the list.
I first heard about Aether Beauty from the That’s So Retrograde Podcast. They even had the founder Tiila of Aether Beauty Tiila Abbitton their podcast a few years ago. Abbitton’s story was interesting and I was impressed with the fact that she was determined to create a clean beauty brand that also was sustainable. All of the packagings are 100% recyclable and made up of recycled materials as well. Not only that but the eyeshadow pallettes have rave reviews on the Sephora website.
