International Women’s Day 2021 #ChooseToChallenge

March 8th is International Women’s Day 2021. In celebration, I wanted to highlight a few of my favorite women-owned brands and a few that I want to try!

What is International Women’s Day 2021?

Each year the IWD campaign picks a different theme to be the focus of the day. This year the theme is the #ChooseToChallenge. It’s all about choosing to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. Each one of us has a voice and can speak up and call out these inequalities. In addition, we can choose to highlight and celebrate the accomplishments of women.

17 Women-Owned Businesses to Support for International Women’s Day

Glam and Glo

Glam and Glow is a women and latina-owned online jewelry shop. They specialize in jewelry that is on trend but also budget friendly. On the website you can also find higher end jewelry made from sterling silver or gold plating or stainless steel. All for under $65! My favorite items from the shop are the Layered Choker Necklace and the Huggie Earrings Set.

Ana Treasurebox

Ana from Ana Treasurebox is an artist from France that makes hand-painted silk scarves. Scarves are a great way to add personality to any outfit. Ana actually recently wrote a post for us talking all about the different ways that you can wear her designs. If you’re on the market for a new silk scarf make sure to visit her Etsy shop and use code TRACYC5OFF for $5 off your purchase!

Seratopical was founded in 2018 by Nancy Duitch and is known for being an innovative brand in the health/wellness industry. I actually am working with them for their #30dayrewind campaign on Instagram. These products contain CBD which can slow signs of aging. By incorporating a CBD skincare product you can reduce inflammation and counteract free-radical damage. I look forward to seeing the results of using their full line of skincare!

SipsBy tea box at home during quarantine

If you’ve been following along on Instagram then you know that I love my tea time. That’s why SipsBy is one of my favorite female-founded brands. SipBy is a personalized tea subscription box. Staci Brinkman created SipsBy to help you discover new teas with this personalized subscription box!

OSEA was founded by mother-daughter duo Jenefer and Melissa Palmer. All of the products use naturally derived ingredients (you’ll see a lot of marine-based ingredients). OSEA is also vegan, gluten-free, and biodegradable!

Roam Footwear

If there ever was a luxury footwear brand for the 2020-2021 year it would be Roam. ROAM is a sustainable, chic, and comfortable line of sandals and slippers. I don’t know about you but I haven’t been wearing anything other than comfy footwear lately. From the looks of their website these are the type of shoes you won’t want to take off even if you’re home.
