Flip App: The Only Way I’ll Shop Beauty Products

Calling all of my beauty and skincare lovers! If you love beauty reviews and good deals then you need to check out the Flip App!

Last summer I was approached by the people at Join Flip to become an ambassador for the Flip app. They described the app as TikTok meets Tinder but for beauty and skincare reviews. Of course, I was curious so I downloaded the app to find out more!

What is the Flip App?

Flip is a free app that provides a TikTok-like experience where you can watch beauty reviews and shop! As a user, you get to vote on the products by swiping left or right. Every time you vote on a product you earn cash to spend on purchases that can be made right through the app.

Every time you vote on a post you earn rewards that you can apply to your purchases for 30% off.  That means if you spend $100 you can get $30 off!

What about returns?

Returns are free! If you change your mind you can start a return through the app. A return label is provided for you in your box. Just keep in mind that some items are not refundable if opened. There will be a label on the package if this is the case.

Can You Only Shop Beauty?

While the app is largely beauty-focused you can also find home, wellness, and oral care items. They have some great candles and kitchen items in the app.

The Brands

Flip has hundreds of brands to choose from! There are popular brands like Supergoop and ELF Cosmetics as well as small brands like NEOS Candle studio.

What is it Like to Be a Creator on Flip?

When you become a Flip ambassador you create honest video reviews for the products you order right in the app. You are encouraged to give your honest feedback so if you don’t love a product feel free to express that! As a creator, you earn cash for watch time (kinda like YouTube), votes, and purchases made from your video!

You can also share the videos that you create on other social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or Pinterest! Personally, I always repurpose my videos for other platforms but you only get the full shopping experience in the app!

You also have the ability to host live shows in the app so you can answer questions about the products in real-time and people can shop as they watch!
