Curating the perfect wardrobe can be tricky. But making sure that you have the right fashion staples for your lifestyle means that you’ll be able to mix and match a variety of pieces. Having the right essential pieces in your closet makes putting outfits together so much easier. Not only that but you will also be able to easily incorporate fun trendy items when you feel like it!
All of these fashion staples are pieces that I either own and love or pieces I think will be a great addition to your closet. If you only want to see items that I currently own you can skip down to the bottom section labeled “Owned and Loved”.
I’ve also included my favorite shoes, handbags, and accessories. If you’re just looking to elevate your current wardrobe these are the items that can do just that without having to spend money on clothes. It’s amazing how adding a few gold necklaces or an edgy boot can elevate a rather simple look.
The handbag that you choose will largely depend on your own personal needs and lifestyle. I like to have a few crossbody bags for every day and one or two larger bags for when I need to travel. Some of my favorite handbag brands include Coach, JW PEI, Pixi Mood, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, and Rebecca Minkoff.
A good pair of shoes can make or break your entire outfit. I always try to go for the most comfortable shoes that I can find. I tend to pick up most of my shoes during the yearly Nordstrom Sale. You can always find high-quality pieces for less during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Some of my favorite brands include Vince Camuto, Converse, Addidas, Sam Edelman, Steve Madden, Toms, and Everlane.
Accessories are a fun way to add personality to your look. When it comes to accessories I like to try out fun trends, colors, and styles. I have a few staple jewelry brands like Gorjana, Ettika, Maison Miru, and Bauble Bar but other than that I’m constantly trying out new brands.
