Fabulous Faux Croc + Friday by Jw Pei Review

It’s no surprise that animal print has been a huge trend over the past few years. I surely have my fair share of leopard, snake, and zebra print in my closet but what about crocodile? I recently rediscovered my appreciation for faux crocodile when I saw this bag from Friday by JW PEI on the Karen Britchick YouTube channel.

Is faux crocodile the next big trend in animal prints? Honestly, I wouldn’t even call faux crocodile a trend. To me, a crocodile belt or bag is always going to be a classic staple piece! It just seems as though we have been seeing faux crocodile pieces in boutiques and Instagram feeds lately!

There is just something about faux crocodile that looks so luxe and chic. If you’re not sure about the trend I would suggest starting off with accessories like a belt or bag!

In addition to croc accessories, I’ve also been seeing faux crocodile tops, dresses, and pants. If you are feeling more daring you could opt for a form-fitted crocodile top or faux leather jacket. I’m even considering trying out a pair of croc faux leather pants.

Friday by JW PEI

When I saw Karen Britchick talk about this Friday by JW PEI bag I knew that I had to have it. She discovered the brand in her “What Everyone in NYC is Wearing” series. Karen mentioned that the quality was incredible especially for the price. I couldn’t agree with her more!

The vegan leather is a bit more sturdy than a traditional leather bag. Which I actually prefer because I know that it will hold up and won’t lose its shape. It comes in the cutest marble box and with a little duster bag so when you aren’t using it you can keep it in tip-top shape. Keep in mind that this isn’t your carry-all tote. It has just enough room for your phone, a small wallet, your keys, and lipstick. Which I actually like as I’ve been enjoying only carrying the essentials!

In addition to JW PEI looking and feeling like a luxury item, they are a sustainable brand. JW PEI uses vegan leather and recycled plastic bottles in its designs. Currently, I have my eye on their new Rantan bags. I love the unique shape and the selection of colors that they offer.

What do you think about wearing crocodile printed pieces? And would you like a post on how I style these pieces? Let me know in the comments!

** This post is not sponsored by JW PEI. I just really like the bag!

I love this bag! I think croc is a great way to get in new animal print besides the traditional leopard/zebra.

Also, I adore your cropped sweater. It is so cute!
