Last week I was lucky enough to receive the Dermablend and SkinCeuticals Vox box from Influesnter. I have heard about these two brands before but I have never had any experience using either of them.
Dermablend Flawless Creator
When I was told that I would be receiving Dermablend foundation I was able to pick a color that I thought would suit me. Well, my monitor must have been way off because I picked out a color that was too dark! And while I do get very tan in the summer I am not entirely sure that this color would even suit me then.
Even though the color was too dark I still went ahead and tested it out. I was impressed by the application and how smoothly the foundation applied to my skin. It seemed to be full coverage but it didn’t feel or look cakey. You can easily blend it out with your fingers or a sponge. If you want even more coverage you can easily build upon what you have already applied.
According to the package, the foundation is fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, sensitive skin-tested and allergy-tested. Not bad for a foundation that covers and blends so well!
Since the color was too dark for me I tried mixing it with a bit of moisturizer to lighten it and it worked wonderfully! It’s not quite as full coverage but it still left my skin looking even and glowy!
Along with the Dermablend foundation, I received SkinCeuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier and the Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2.
SkinCeuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifer
According to the package, this serum is proven to amplify skin’s hyaluronic acid levels. Resulting in improvement in the skin’s smoothness, plumpness, firmness, and elasticity.
SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2
This is an anti-aging cream that is formulated with a maximized concentration of lipids. When used regularly you should see improvement in elasticity, aging skin, and moisture.
I have been using these two products for the past week but that isn’t nearly enough time to tell if the product is working. And the bottles that I received will are so tiny that I am sure they will run out before the end of this week. The ingredients in these two products seem to be very good but I can’t really recommend them either way unless I try a full-sized product. Which I don’t really see happening because they each cost over $90! I will stick to my current skincare regime and trusty facial oils that keep my skin feeling amazing!
