Probably the easiest way to give back is to donate to your favorite charitable organization. All you have to do is choose a cause that you are are passionate about and send a few bucks their way! Volunteer Your Time
I know life gets extra busy this time of year but donating even a the smallest big of your time can have a huge impact on your community. Spend time at a soup kitchen, in a nursing home or pet shelter.
Donate Used Items
I don’t know about you but I love the feeling of clearing my space of things that I no longer use. Some of us tend to accumulate many items that we no longer find useful over the years and they end up just taking up space. So clean out your closet, load up your car to donate the things you no longer need!
Help a Friend or Neighbor
Do you know of someone in your community or at work that struggling with something in their personal life? Do something to help them out or cheer them up a bit. Take them out for a movie, bring over a casserole or just send them a text letting them know that you are thinking about them. Sometimes a little gesture is all you need to make a difference in someone’s life!
Perform a Random Act of Kindness
Simply being kind to others can be a huge way to give back. So often we underestimate how far a little compliment or smile at a random stranger can go! Leave an encouraging note on a random item in your local Target, give a friend a phone call or over-tip your server at dinner. These little things can go really help to brighten up someone’s day!
