If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you know how much I love my Artist of Life Workbook. The Artist of Life Workbook was created by YouTube Aileen Xu to help you make your dream life come true! It’s filled with exercises to help you figure out a vision for your life. I’m in my third year of using this book and I love how it helps you to break down your goals and create habits! If you wanna see inside the workbook head over to my Instagram and check the highlight labeled 2021!
The Lovet Planner
Having a daily planner is a practice that I’ve had since high school! In order to be successful, I believe that you need to write out the top three things that you want to accomplish for the day. Will it always happen? No. But at least you’ll have a plan of action and be able to set clear intentions for yourself each day. The Lovet Planner is great because it gives you space for specific things you want to accomplish. There is a habit tracker, expense tracker, gratitude notes, and leads/sales page for you boss babes!
In addition to the blogging that I’ve been doing over the past few years, I’ve also been spending a lot of time on my computer working remotely. Since this is the case I’ve been looking for any way I can to make working from home easier. Since it’s not the best to be sitting all day I invested in a laptop stand so I can work while standing. I always feel more focused while standing. I find that changing positions like this helps me to clear my head and get more energized!
Using the Pomodoro method has been extremely helpful in helping me just get shit done! The Pomodoro method is when you set a timer for 25 minutes of work followed by a 5-minute break. After four cycles you take a 15-minute break and then start the process over again if needed. You don’t have to follow the time markings exactly but 25 minutes on 5 minutes off is recommended. It’s just long enough for you to get work done without feeling overwhelmed. I used to use an app on my phone for this but then I heard about the time cube and decided that was a better option. This way I can put away my phone and close out all of my tabs. This really has been a game-changer for me! It’s one of the only ways that I can get myself to focus on one task at a time.
Fun Pens, Pencils, and Stationary
I am by no means a planner girl but I do love to have pretty pens and stationery. Even though I do most of my work on my laptop I still like to handwrite my thoughts. The act of physically writing things down helps me to clear my mind which helps me to be more productive! I also like to color code the different sections in my Artist of Life Workbook. So I always have several different color pens on hand!
If you need to kickstart your productivity in 2021 I highly recommend you to try out some of these productivity tools. Especially if you’ve been working at home where there can often be a lot of outside distractions! Tell me in the comments if you’re working from home and how you’re staying productive.
