Happy Monday lovely dazzlers! I originally wanted to share with my 4th of July OOTD but I actually don’t have a clue what I am going to wear! I know I am so last minute this year! Maybe I’ll just stick to denim shorts and a blue or white top. Check my Instagram for an update on what outfit I’ll be wearing on the 4th!
Since I don’t have an outfit planned for tomorrow, I decided to create a 4th of July wish list. Here are a few items that I am loving for the 4th of July or any patriotic holiday!
How cute is this heart shaped red, white and blue crossbody bag? It is so convenient to wear a crossbody bag when you are walking a lot in the summer. This is a perfect addition to any patriotic outfit.
OK, so this bikini is a bit pricey for me but I couldn’t resist putting it on my wish list! I love the retro feeling of the high waisted bottoms and stripes. Pair it with some red lipstick and you have completed the 50s look!
Pinterest is everything when it comes to organization. I am terrible at keeping my things organized and I needed a way to keep my necklaces from getting tangled. So of course, I had to check out Pinterest for some inspiration and I found this awesome project.
You simply take a piece of wood, sand it, paint it any color that tickles your fancy, seal the paint, twist hooks into the wood and you’re all set! It’s fun way to put all of your pretty necklaces on display! Do you have any organization tricks? Let us know in the comments below!
Primark is a retail store that originated in Ireland in 1969. Last year they opened their very first store in America in Boston, MA and this year they opened their first store in my state! All together that makes 5 stores in the United States: Willow Grove, PA, King of Prussia, PA, Danbury, CT, Boston, MA and Freehold, NJ. As soon as I found out about a store opening up relatively near me I took a trip to find out what they are all about.
If I had to compare Primark to any other store in the US I would compare it to H&M. Primmark carries clothing for women, men and children. Unlike H&M however, they have a housewares and shoe section. When I first walked into Primark I had an overwhelming feeling because there was so much to look at and discover!
I was shocked to find that the prices were super low! I’m talking shirts for under $10 and dress pants that range from $8 to $15. Now I’m not saying that everything is going to be high quality or as good a fit as some high end brands, but the $8 dress pants I bought aren’t too bad. Since I don’t wear black dress pants too often, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying out an inexpensive brand. They look good, fit good and make my wallet happy!
Here are some other finds that I picked up while shopping at Primark:
Grey Jersey Cap $3.98
Silver Snake Hoop Earrings $1.50
Marshmallow Small Jar Candle $1.00
Gold Pearl Front/Back Earrings $2.50
Set of 6 Rose Gold Bracelets $3.50
Silver and Rose Gold Ring Necklace $6.00
Black Wide Leg Dress Pants $8.00 (Not Pictured)
Since I didn’t have enough time to try on clothes I stuck with just getting a few accessories. My favorite purchases are the hat and the pearl earrings. I have been really into hats lately especially since I have been skipping extra days in between washing to preserve the funky colors in my hair. I plan on going back soon to pick out a few cute outfits so I can test out the quality. When that happens I will be sure to share it with you! Have you been to a Primark store? If so what do you think? Comment below.
