A few weeks ago Influenster sent a box of Erno Laszlo Firmarine Lift Face Masks for free to review.
I have never heard of the Erno Laszlo brand before so I was excited to try something new!
What does the kit come with?
The Erno-Laszlo-Firmarine-Lift-Face-Mask kit comes with two packets that you mix together to create the mask. One packet is a powder and the other is a gel. All you have to do is mix the two packets together to create your mask!
What’s in the mask?
On the Erno Laszlo website, it states that this facial mask contains spirulina maxima algae extract that promotes collagen growth, pullulan to balance moisture levels and provitamin B5 which defends against water loss.
How do you apply it?
When you mix together the two packets together you get a pretty blue mousey texture that is ready to be spread all over your face. One thing I noticed right away as I was stirring the mixture was the minty smell! It smelled so good and I couldn’t wait to get it on my face!
According to the packet instructions, you should avoid getting the mixture on your hairline or your eyebrows. Becuase of that I took my time spreading the mixture all over my face. Since I was trying to be so careful the mixture started drying up and became a little crumbly and difficult to apply. For that reason, I would suggest spreading the mixture over your face as quickly as possible.
Once you apply the mask to your face you are to leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. As I was waiting for the timer to ring I could feel a cooling and tingling sensation on my skin.
After peeling off the mask my skin felt hydrated and refreshed. Other than my skin feeling super clean and tingly from this minty mask I didn’t notice any immediate changes.
Pros of the Erno Laszlo Lift Face Mask
- Smells amazing!
- Easy to peel off
- Leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean
Cons of the Erno Laszlo Lift Face Mask
- You need to work fast to apply the mixture or it will dry out and won’t’ stick to your face.
- The price! It’s sold for $80 at Sephora!
Overall I really liked this face mask and I would purchase it if only it wasn’t for the high price tag! I can’t honestly ever see myself paying $80 for a pack of 4 facial masks! I’d much rather have a new pair of shoes or a cute bag! What do you think? Would you try this mask out for $80?
